Deep Links

Deep links are links that are within a website linking to interior pages (not the home page). Deep links can also refer to incoming links from other websites that are pointed to an interiorpage of a website. Deep links are important for search engine optimization because the anchortext used in these links helps Google crawlers to determine what the page being linked to isall about. In short, deep links help the page they are linking to as well as the page they are linking from.Having a link with keyword anchor text on a page not only helps Google understand what the page is about that the link is going to, but also helps the crawlers identify what the page that is linking to the interior page is about.
